Fausto Cuervo-Arango was known for his love of food and people. Born the son of a Cuban fruit cart vendor in Havana, he became a doctor who was known for his service to the community both through his medical practice and as a local minister. He came to be referred to as Don Fausto — a mark of great respect and admiration.
Don Fausto’s is now serving great Cuban sandwiches and hospitality to the neighborhood, opened in tribute to a much-loved and respected grandfather.
