About Made In The Shade Mobile Ice Cream Parlor

Valerie and Ed were nearing retirement when they decided to move to Sacramento, CA to be closer to their daughter and her children. While they were satisfied to spend their time helping out with the grandkids, they wondered whether there was a way to keep themselves occupied while earning some extra income. One day, while eating ice cream at a Thousand Oaks festival, an idea struck – what about an ice cream truck? While they had zero experience in the food industry, they dived right in alongside their daughter. Despite their rookie status, before long business was booming.

The menu sports shaved ice, ice cream, floats, and smoothies all packed with saccharine flavor. You can enjoy melt-in-your-mouth shaved ice in flavors like grape, strawberry, and sour apple. Or, sample a sundae smothered in hot fudge or Oreo cookie crumbles. However, don’t think all the goodies here are guilty pleasures. There are also fruit smoothies perfect for the health conscious. So, if your sweet tooth’s calling, congratulations. You’ve found the perfect place to satisfy your sugar cravings. Plus, they cater, so you can bring this divine dessert table straight to your guests if you book ‘em for your next event.
