About Lettuce Feast
After starting a plant-based diet in 2016 Eva & Willie decided to create a plant based blog around Eva’s professional cooking experience. In her time in the industry she has worked in a wide variety of establishments in Los Angeles, and as a private chef for some of the best athletes in the country. In 2016 she decided to start the blog Wild Sunflower Chef. After a very well received welcome from the public they decided to write and publish the cookbook “LETTUCE FEAST: 60+ Vegan and Vegetarian Recipes For The URBAN Eater.” With the cookbook increasing in popularity the pair eventually started having POP-UP’s in the Los Angeles area. In early 2018 the two decided it was time to set up shop and give the streets of LA what it truly needed; an elevated vegan comfort food truck. Our take on elevated vegan comfort cuisine is traditional southern and creole flavors with a modern, high end twist on flavor profiles. We wanted to provide DELICIOUS cruelty free food with all of the flavor, and none of the guilt.
